DEFINITION OF SOCIAL SCIENCE

Basic Social Sciences is a science that examines issues or social phenomena that arise and thrive in the environment around us, using the terms (facts, concepts, theories) that originate from different fields of knowledge of expertise in the field of social sciences such as history, economic, social geography, sociology, anthropology, social psychology. Basic social science is a study material or workmanship programs specifically designed for the purposes of education or teaching in Indonesia is given in Universities. Strictly speaking Basic Social Science courses are given in order to provide basic knowledge and general knowledge about social phenomena in order responsiveness, perception and reasoning of students in the face of the social environment can be improved so more sensitive to it.
